Privacy Policy

How Original You Advanced Laser handles information collected through this website, and our Nevada consumer health data privacy policy.

Draft for review. This page was prepared for the site rebuild and reflects the requirements of 45 CFR 164.520, NRS 603A.340 and NRS 603A.495 as of August 17, 2026. Have counsel review it against the practice’s actual data flows, vendors and business associate agreements before it goes live, and set the effective date to the date you adopt it.

This policy explains what Original You Advanced Laser collects through originalyoulv.com, how we use it, who we share it with and how you can reach us about it. It covers the website. Information you give us as a patient is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, which is a separate document.

What we collect on this website

We collect only what we need to answer you and to understand how the site is performing.

  • Information you send us. When you submit a form on this site we collect your name, phone number, email address, the treatment you asked about, how you prefer to be contacted, and whatever you write in the message field. Our forms ask you not to include medical history, photos of a medical condition or insurance information, and we do not want that information through a website form.
  • Which page you contacted us from. Each form records the page it was submitted from so we know what you were reading when you reached out.
  • Automatically collected technical information. Your IP address, browser and device type, referring site, pages viewed and time on page, collected through server logs and analytics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Used to keep the site working, to measure traffic and, where you have consented, to measure advertising performance.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell consumer health data.

Categories of third parties we may share it with

We share only what a vendor needs to do its job for us, and only with vendors bound to protect it.

  • Website hosting and security providers that operate the site and keep it online.
  • Email and form-delivery providers that carry your enquiry to our inbox.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Ads, which receive pseudonymous usage and conversion data.
  • Scheduling, payment and practice-management vendors, once you become a patient.
  • Professional advisors and regulators, where we are legally required or permitted to disclose.

Third-party tracking across websites

Yes — third parties may collect information about your online activity over time and across other websites when you use this site. Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies and identifiers that can be used for measurement and advertising. We do not control that collection beyond the settings we choose. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for them.

Reviewing and changing your information

To see what we hold from a website enquiry, correct it, or ask us to delete it, email info@OriginalYouLV.com or call 702-631-5009. We will verify who you are before we act, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Patient records are handled under the access and amendment rights described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Text messages and email

When you check the consent box on a form, you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone, text or email about the request you sent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us at any time and we will stop. Withdrawing consent does not affect care you have already received. Standard email and text are not secure channels, which is why we ask you to keep clinical details out of them.

How long we keep it

Website enquiries are kept only as long as we need them to follow up with you and to meet our record-keeping obligations, then deleted. Medical records are retained for the period Nevada law requires for a medical practice.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to staff who need it. Clinical information is kept in systems covered by a business associate agreement, separate from this website.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will post the revised policy here with a new effective date, and if the change affects information we already hold about you we will tell you directly at the email or phone number we have for you before the change takes effect. The version on this page is always the current one.

Nevada consumer health data privacy policy

This section is our consumer health data privacy policy under Nevada’s consumer health data law (SB 370, NRS 603A.400 to 603A.560), which took effect March 31, 2024 (Bass, Berry & Sims). Most information we hold about patients is protected health information already governed by HIPAA and is exempt from that law; this section covers consumer health data that is not.

What we collect and where it comes from

Categories collected: your contact details; the treatment or bodily condition you tell us you are interested in, such as a tattoo you want removed, unwanted hair, a skin concern or visible leg veins; anything you choose to write in a form; appointment and enquiry history; and website usage data linked to pages about specific treatments.

Sources: directly from you, through this website’s forms, by phone, by text and in person; and from your device automatically, through cookies and analytics on this site.

How we use and process it

To answer your enquiry, to prepare an estimate, to schedule and provide the treatment you asked about, to send you appointment and follow-up communications, to keep required records, to measure which pages and advertisements bring people to us, and to improve the site. Processing is done by our own staff and by the service providers described above, using our systems and theirs. We do not use consumer health data to make automated decisions about you.

What we share, and with whom

Categories shared: contact details and the treatment of interest, and only where needed for the purposes above. Categories of recipients: the website hosting, form-delivery, email, analytics, scheduling, payment and practice-management providers listed earlier, and professional advisors or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Third-party collection across sites

As described above, third-party analytics and advertising cookies on this site may collect information about your activity over time and across other websites. That is the extent of third-party collection we allow.

Your rights, and how to use them

You have the right to confirm whether we are collecting, sharing or selling your consumer health data; to get a list of every third party we have shared or sold it to; to receive a copy of any written authorization you gave for a sale; to have it deleted; to withdraw consent and have us stop collecting, sharing or selling it; and to appeal if we refuse a request.

To make a request, email info@OriginalYouLV.com with “Nevada health data request” in the subject line, or call 702-631-5009. Tell us which right you are exercising. We will verify your identity, respond within the time the law allows, and tell you how to appeal if we decline. If your appeal is denied you may contact the Nevada Attorney General.

Changes to this section

We will not collect, use or share categories of consumer health data, or share with third parties, beyond what is listed here without first disclosing it to you and getting your affirmative consent. Material changes are posted here with a new effective date and communicated to affected consumers directly.

Geofencing

We do not operate a geofence around any medical facility, ours or anyone else’s.
